Unreal Engine 5.4 has introduced new motion design capabilities, and we’ve created a comprehensive course to explore them. You’ll learn to create everything from simple 3D animations to photorealistic videos, and even recreate a complete video from scratch.

What is the Unreal Motion Course about?

Unreal Engine 5.4 has recently introduced groundbreaking motion design capabilities, and we’ve developed an in-depth and comprehensive course to help you explore these new artistic possibilities. Whether you’re looking to create simple 3D animations or achieve stunning, photorealistic video effects, this course has got you covered.

This course is designed with beginners in mind, making it easy for anyone to learn and master the software. Our engaging lessons and hands-on projects will ensure you gain practical experience and confidence in using UE 5.4 for your motion design projects.

Throughout the course, you’ll have the opportunity to recreate a complete video from scratch, applying what you’ve learned to a real-world project.

What will I learn?

UE 5.4 Basics

In this lesson, you will be introduced to the interface and basic setup of Unreal Engine 5.4 to get started. We will also create the first scene, “Glowing Cube in the Grass,” from the video.

Motion Path

In this lesson, you will learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling within Unreal Engine 5.4. You will be introduced to the interface and basic setup, ensuring you have a solid foundation to get started. To put your new skills into practice, we will recreate the labyrinth scene, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned in a hands-on project.

Dynamic Volumetric Effects

In this lesson, we will delve into creating dynamic volumetric effects using VBD (Volumetric Breakdown) files in Unreal Engine 5.4. We will train on the Clouds scene, applying these techniques to create a realistic and atmospheric environment.

Underwater Environment

In this lesson, we will work with water simulation techniques to build a stunning underwater scene in Unreal Engine 5.4. You will learn how to create realistic water effects and integrate water VFX to bring the underwater environment to life.

Motion Train

In this lesson, we will delve into using static assets to recreate the iconic train scene, showcasing how to bring it to life with motion techniques that are brand new in Unreal Engine 5.4. You will learn how to utilize and customize assets from Quixel Bridge and other platforms, gaining a deep understanding of asset integration and manipulation.

Desert Environment

In this lesson, we will learn how to work with cloth simulation in Unreal Engine 5.4. We will apply all previously learned techniques to create a dynamic desert environment. You will gain hands-on experience by animating the “Desert Tornado and Cloth” scene, bringing the arid landscape to life.

Camera Rigs

In this lesson, we will learn how to work with camera rigs. You will discover how to set up and manipulate cameras to capture dynamic and cinematic shots. We will apply these techniques to the “Stonehenge” scene, enhancing your ability to create engaging and visually compelling scenes by mastering camera movements and setups.

Final Title Animation

The final task will be animating the stones morphing into the appealing title “Unreal Motion.” In this lesson, we will practice and refine our animation skills, focusing on smooth transitions and dynamic effects to create a captivating title sequence. This project will combine all the techniques you’ve learned throughout the course, showcasing your ability to produce professional-grade animations in Unreal Engine 5.4.
