Trimflow is a Blender add-on that enables you to apply repeating patterns—such as ornaments or stitches—to 3D objects non-destructively. The workflow centers on drawing curves directly onto mesh surfaces, which the add-on then converts into adjustable decals using trim textures. These decals can be easily modified, duplicated, and swapped out as needed throughout your design process.

Once you’ve finalized your pattern placement, Trimflow allows you to bake the decals into masks, making it straightforward to prepare your work for rendering or export. This approach keeps your creative process flexible while maintaining the ability to lock in results when you’re ready.
