DepthScape LUTs – Pascal Basel

DepthScape LUTs are a collection of 8 high-quality finishing LUTs designed to give videos and photos a coherent filmic, moody, and modern aesthetic. Built upon a consistent tone-curve with distinct color variations, these LUTs neutralize purple hues, desaturate green tones, and gently push footage toward a natural teal and orange look. Each LUT is crafted with careful color graduations to prevent color-banding.

Designed as universal finishing tools, DepthScape LUTs work with content shot on all cameras, drones, action cams, and smartphones, and are compatible with all video editing software that supports LUTs. For LOG footage, users should perform LOG conversion and basic color corrections prior to applying the LUT. For standard picture profiles, the LUTs can be applied directly, though performing color adjustments beforehand is recommended.

To support different color grading workflows, each of the 8 LUTs is provided in 3 dedicated versions:

• RCM: Optimized specifically for DaVinci Resolve Color Management (DaVinci Wide Gamut) to deliver maximum image quality.
• Rec709: Set up for a standard Rec709 color space, ideal for Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve without color management enabled.
• Rec709c: A corrected Rec709 variation built with extra adjustments out-of-the-box to make grading simpler and faster in editors such as Final Cut Pro.

The pack features 8 distinct color variations based on the same core tone curve:

• CG: Cold greens
• COLD: Cold overall look
• STANDARD ONE: Muted greens, slight shadow teal
• STANDARD TWO: Muted greens, strong shadow teal
• STANDARD THREE: Muted greens, neutral shadows
• WARM ONE: Warm overall look, slight shadow teal
• WARM TWO: Warm overall look, strong shadow teal
• WARM THREE: Warm overall look, neutral shadows
