Bloom Effect
is a cinematic glow preset for After Effects 2024 and above, designed to add a soft, dreamy bloom to your footage. Ideal for dark scenes with visible light sources, this effect gently expands highlights to create a misty, atmospheric look — perfect for music videos, fashion films, slow-motion shots, vintage edits, and ambient storytelling.
Whether you’re aiming for a nostalgic glow, an ethereal dreamlike feeling, or a subtle haze of elegance, this bloom preset delivers professional results in seconds. No plugins required. The effect is fully customizable through Essential Properties — control the intensity and style directly in your timeline.
