Blender Parametric Primitves
Overview
This course covers the creation of parametric primitives in Blender using Geometry Nodes. Parametric primitives—customizable geometric shapes that can be adjusted through parameters—are standard features in other 3D applications like Cinema 4D and Maya, but are not built into Blender’s default toolkit. The course demonstrates how to use Geometry Nodes, Blender’s procedural modeling system, to build these flexible, reusable primitive objects.
By working through this material, you’ll learn to construct parametric shapes that can be modified and controlled without rebuilding the geometry from scratch. This approach enables faster workflows and more efficient asset creation for modeling tasks.
