Geometry nodes Dimensions system v4.4
Overview
This Blender geometry node system enables you to measure and annotate 3D models directly within your project. By applying the included node groups to loose edges, you can automatically calculate and display dimensions, radii, radial lengths, and angles in your choice of metric or imperial units—meters, centimeters, millimeters, inches, and feet for linear measurements, or degrees and radians for angles.
The system supports real-time measurement updates when you animate using hook modifiers, shape keys, or bones, making it practical for technical visualization and documentation. You can add custom text annotations via arrow tools to convey additional information about your model, then export the complete technical data alongside your geometry for rendering or uploading to platforms like Sketchfab.
