Cinematic Concept Art Mentorship

By Arttrainacademy in Blender Included

Overview

This 10-week mentorship focuses on creating cinematic concept art through industry-standard workflows. Led by Leo Avero, the course teaches the fundamentals of cinematic image-making—including composition, lighting, camera lens theory, and visual storytelling—alongside practical 3D and 2D techniques. You’ll work with Blender for 3D modeling and texturing, complemented by Photoshop paintover techniques, plus supplementary tools like Marvelous Designer, Quixel Megascans, and Character Creator to streamline your production pipeline.

Live sessions run Sundays at 12 PM UTC+7 (Jakarta time) for 4–5 hours each week, featuring live demonstrations, critiques, and detailed paintover feedback. Classes are recorded for reference, and the mentorship is capped at 20 students per term to ensure personalized guidance. The curriculum emphasizes finding compelling shots, developing strong composition and lighting skills, and building a professional portfolio while learning to work efficiently with your tools and assets.

Prerequisites include basic familiarity with Blender or similar 3D software and foundational knowledge of digital painting tools like Photoshop. By the end, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how cinematography principles translate to concept art and the practical skills to tell your own visual stories.
